Abstract
The recovery process is an essential component of effective sports training because the adaptation of an athlete’s body depends not only on the training load but also on the quality and organization of recovery. Modern sports pedagogy considers recovery to be an integral part of the training process rather than a passive interval between physical activities. This article examines pedagogical means of accelerating recovery in sports training, including rational organization of training loads, active recovery, optimization of rest intervals, breathing exercises, stretching, relaxation techniques, sleep management, psychological regulation, and individualization of training programs. Particular attention is paid to the role of the coach in monitoring athletes’ functional condition and selecting appropriate recovery methods. The article argues that systematic pedagogical management of recovery can improve performance, reduce excessive fatigue, prevent overtraining, and contribute to long-term athletic development.
